Information for those newly diagnosed with a blood cancer
Having spoken to many patients and their families we know that they often feel very isolated, scared and filled with disbelief when given a diagnosis. They told us that a booklet that takes them through the initial stages would help them.
With this in mind, we have written a brand new booklet and included a list of a number of sources of help as well as questions they might like to ask their consultant.
This section of the website explains more about being diagnosed with a blood cancer or related condition with details of organisations which offer help and support.
If you are not sure if this is the information which you need, please phone our clinical information officer on 020 7504 2260 to discuss which information is most relevant for you.
