In October 2011 Chris and David Adams cycled between each county cricket club in the UK. They started at Durham CCC on 7 October and finished at Surrey CCC passing through each of the 18 county’s doing a total of 868 miles in 15 days.

Chris and David who are both nicknamed Grizzly, are cycling the whole 868 miles and have invited celebrities, sponsors and cricketers to join them on various days of their tour. This is a massive challenge for Chris and David as they are not trained cyclists. They have embarked on the challenge for a very personal reason and hoping to raise lot of money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Chris and David’s father John, was sadly diagnosed with Peripheral T cell lymphoma attached to the liver last year and is currently undergoing treatment. Peripheral T cell lymphomas are a group of rare and aggressive lymphomas that affect the T-cells found in the peripheral circulating blood.

Chris and David really want to do something to help and make sure others do not go through the same experience their dad and family have been through. Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research are investing more than £1 million into research to understand how these lymphomas arise and develop more effective treatments. Chris and David’s fundraising efforts will all go to help fund this specific research

Chris Adams played first class cricket for Derbyshire from1988 to 1997. He then joined Sussex as captain. He is the longest serving county captain in Sussex's history. He captained Sussex to the 2003, 2006 and 2007 County Championship titles. David launched and founded the Pro4Sport company with the aim of providing amateur sports people with the quality of equipment professional players have access to. When founding the company, David explained that "the Pro4Sport concept was born of a frustration with the current market place and a desire for quality and value for money in specialist branded sports equipment'.
