Fundraising is much easier if you focus on something you’re interested in – and if you get your family and friends to help you!

Our fundraisers organise all kinds of wonderful events - your imagination is the only limit. Here are a few simple ideas to get you started:

Themed pub evening

Why not turn your regular Friday evening post-work drink into a fundraising event? You could produce some quiz questions and charge everyone £1 to enter.  Or you could have some special drinking rules.... for one hour, everyone has to drink from their left hand, anyone caught drinking from the right is fined £1!  

Come dine with me

Everyone loves a good dinner party, so why not turn your next one into a fundraiser for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. It's easy to do - just ask your guests to make a donation for their meal. You could even charge a small amount for every glass of wine! Or, if you're feeling a bit braver, take inspiration from the Come Dine With Me TV show. 

Take on a challenge

If you're looking for adventure, why not think about taking on a physical challenge. People jump out of planes, climb mountains or take on treks to raise money for us every year. If you'd like to take on a challenge like this, get in touch and we will support you every step of the way.

A really easy way to increase your fundraising potential is to ask your employer to match any funds you raise, tax free.

Loads of companies now do this, and it means that all you have to do is ask your employer, and your sponsorship total could be doubled with hardly any further effort required by you!
