Come along and join Beefy at the Wimpole Estate, you can register on the day. Stroll through the grounds to the walled garden, bursting with seasonal produce and glorious herbaceous borders.

    Get some fresh air, have some family fun and be a part of something unique and inspiring this spring!

    It's the people on the walk; the patients, the families, the ordinary people who want to something extraordinary, who have raised £13million with Beefy since he began walking to beat blood cancer in 1985.

    Beefy will be walking from Cambridge city centre to the beautiful Wimpole Estate where you, the public, can join him and his celebrity friends to walk the final few miles and support him all the way to the finish line.

    Entry fees (£15 for adults, £5 for under 12s) for Beefy's Great British Walk cover your entry, a walk t-shirt, support and medal. We would love you to fundraise further £150 that could buy essential laboratory materials for our vital research.

    Join us at Wimpole Estate from midday where we will have a family festival with lots of fun activities, including music, entertainment and refreshments, ready to welcome and join Beefy on the final 4 miles of his walk at 1pm.

    The Barmy Army will be setting up a cricket pitch if you wish to join in for a bat!

    The terrain is suitable for push chairs and wheel chairs so everybody can support and enjoy the day. Well behaved dogs are very welcome on a lead.

    There is free parking available on the field by our event space.
