How we are beating blood cancer - Impact Day
-
About
Our vision is to beat blood cancer. This means 100% survival and 100% quality of life.
We want every single person affected by blood cancer to live their life to the full, free from fear of relapse and the harsh side effects of treatments, and able to do the things that make them feel alive.
On 13th April 2013, Impact Day gave supporters the opportunity to meet some of the amazing people involved in our work and find out exactly how we are beating blood cancer and what this means for patients.
We shared inspiring thoughts in answer to the question what makes you feel alive? To check out the responses, click on the gallery and tweets tabs above.
"The room was invigorated, people filed out with renewed drive and determination."CML patient Kris Griffin shared his story with attendees, read his blog about the day here.
