007 Charity Ball

  • About

Following the success of their ball in 2010, Erika and Rob Burnett decided to do it all over again, this time with a killer theme.

Erika and Rob held an action packed, fun-filled evening The Sharnbrook Hotel, Bedfordshire. The exclusive ball had a license to thrill with amazing performances from a live band and Cabaret act.

Poker faces were at the ready as their was a casino and a fantastic live auction - raising over £8,000 in total!

Erica and Rob have been raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research since their son, Jack, was diagnosed with a blood cancer when he was only four years old. Jack was diagnosed with leukaemia in July 2007, just before he was due to go on a family holiday. Having been unwell and failed to recover, mum Erika took him to the GP and within hours he was beginning treatment at Addenbrookes Hospital. The three years of chemotherapy were very difficult for the whole family, but particularly Jack’s brother Marcus, who was old enough to understand Jack’s life was in danger. Thankfully Jack, now eight, completed his treatment in August 2010 and is back at school fulltime.

Thank you Erika and Rob for all of your hard work and thanks to everyone who attended the night and made it such a great success.
